Autors

Līdz ar to šis pants pasaka, kāpēc sarakstīts Jāņa evaņģēlijs. Šis evaņģēlijs ir noderīgs gan neticīgiem, gan kristiešiem. Lasot šo evaņģēliju un cenšoties to saprast ir jāpatur prātā Jāņa definētais rakstīšanas nolūks: uzrakstītās zīmes (sk. zemāk A) ir rakstītas ar nolūku, lai cilvēki ticētu (sk. zemāk B), un ticētu, "ka Jēzus ir Kristus, Dieva Dēls".

(A) Zīmes nav tikai brīnumi, bet norādes uz kaut ko. Šīs zīmes ir sekojošās:

  1. Ūdens pārvēršana vīnā Kānā Galilejā (2:1-11). 11.p.: "Šī ir pirmā zīme, ko Jēzus darīja Kānā Galilejā, atklādams Savu godību, un Viņa mācekļi sāka Viņam ticēt."
  2. Galma vīra dēla dziedināšana Kapernaumā (4:46-54). 54.p.: "Šī jau bija otra zīme, ko Jēzus darīja, atnācis no Jūdejas Galilejā."
  3. Neveselā dziedināšana pie Betzatas dīķa Jeruzalemē (5:1-18).
  4. 5000 cilvēku paēdināšana pie Galilejas jūras (6:5-14).
  5. Staigāšana pa ūdens virsu Galilejas jūrā (6:16-21).
  6. Aklā dziedināšana Jeruzālemē (9:1-7).
  7. Lācara uzcelšana no mirušiem Betānijā (11:1-45).

  2. Nātānaēls 1:49: „Rabi, Tu esi Dieva Dēls, Tu esi Israēla Ķēniņš!"
  3. Pēteris 6:69: „. . . mēs esam ticējuši un atzinuši, ka Tu esi Dieva Svētais."
  4. Izdziedinātais aklais 9:35-38, 38.p.: "Viņš teica: "Es ticu, Kungs!" - un To pielūdza."
  5. Marta 11:27: „Jā, Kungs, es ticu, ka Tu esi Kristus, Dieva Dēls, kam jānāk pasaulē."
  6. Toms 20:28: „Mans Kungs un Mans Dievs!"
  7. Jānis 20:31: „. . . Jēzus ir Kristus, Dieva Dēls . . ."
  8. Jēzus 10:36: „Es esmu Dieva Dēls." (Sk. arī 4:26; 8:58; 9:35-38.)

Netiešā veidā:

1:7.12; 2:22; 3:16; 4:39.41.53 u.c.

Īpašie akcenti

Vairāk kā 1/3 daļa no visa Jāņa evaņģēlija apraksta to, kas notika aptuveni 24 stundu periodā, proti, 13.-19.nod. Tas iekļauj: Jēzus mazgā saviem mācekļiem kājas, Svētais vakarēdiens, Jēzus runas, augstpriesteriskā lūgšana (17.nod.), Jēzus nodošana, tiesāšana un nāve.

Viena no svarīgām tēmām Jāņa evaņģēlijā ir „Es esmu" pasludinājumi:

  1. "ES ESMU dzīvības maize." (6:35)
  2. "ES ESMU pasaules gaisma ..." (8:12)
  3. "ES ESMU durvis, kas ved pie avīm." (10:7, sk. arī 9.p.)
  4. "ES ESMU labais gans." (10:11.14)
  5. "ES ESMU augšāmcelšanās un dzīvība …" (11:25)
  6. "ES ESMU ceļš, patiesība un dzīvība …" (14:6)
  7. "ES ESMU īstais vīnakoks …" (15:1, sk. arī 5.p.)

Vēl ir Jēzus lietotie vārdi "Es esmu", kas ir paši par sevi: 4:26; 6:20; 8:24.28.58; 13:19; 18:5.6.8.

Jņ. 8:58 redzam kontrastu starp Ābrahāmu un Jēzu:

58 Jēzus atbildēja viņiem: "Patiesi, patiesi Es jums saku: pirms Ābrahāms tapa, esmu Es."

Par Ābrahāmu sacīts γενέσθαι - aor.med.inf. - kļūt, tapt; par sevi Jēzus saka: ἐγὼ εἰμί - palīgdarbības vārds prez.akt.ind. - Es esmu.

Sakot "Es esmu" Jēzus skaidri norādīja, ka Viņš ir Dievs. Tas nāk no Ex. 3:14.

  • The Deity of Jesus Christ

  • 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
  • 2 He was in the beginning with God.
  • 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
  • 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
  • 5 And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.
  • The Witness of John the Baptist

  • 6 There was a man having been sent from God, whose name was John.
  • 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the Light, so that all might believe through him.
  • 8 He was not the Light, but he came to bear witness about the Light.
  • 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens everyone.
  • 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
  • 11 He came to what was His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
  • 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
  • 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
  • The Word Became Flesh

  • 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
  • 15 John *bore witness about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has been ahead of me, for He existed before me.’”
  • 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
  • 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
  • 18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
  • A Voice in the Wilderness

  • 19 And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
  • 20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
  • 21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” And he *said, “I am not.”“Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”
  • 22 Therefore, they said to him, “Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”
  • 23 He said, “I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”
  • 24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.
  • 25 And they asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
  • 26 John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but among you stands One whom you do not know.
  • 27 This One is He who comes after me, of whom I am not worthy to untie the strap of His sandal.”
  • 28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
  • 29 On the next day, he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
  • 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who has been ahead of me, for He existed before me.’
  • 31 I did not know Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing with water.”
  • 32 And John bore witness saying, “I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He abided on Him.
  • 33 And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘The One upon whom you see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, this is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
  • 34 And I myself have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”
  • Behold, the Lamb of God

  • 35 On the next day, John again was standing with two of his disciples,
  • 36 and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
  • 37 And the two disciples heard him speak and followed Jesus.
  • 38 And when Jesus turned and noticed them following, He *said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?”
  • 39 He *said to them, “Come, and you will see.” So they came and saw where He was staying; and they stayed with Him that day. It was about the tenth hour.
  • 40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
  • 41 He first *found his own brother Simon and *said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which translated means Christ).
  • 42 He brought him to Jesus. When Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas” (which is translated Peter).
  • 43 On the next day, He desired to go into Galilee, and He *found Philip. And Jesus *said to him, “Follow Me.”
  • 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
  • 45 Philip *found Nathanael and *said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
  • 46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip *said to him, “Come and see.”
  • 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said about him, “Behold, truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!”
  • 48 Nathanael *said to Him, “From where do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
  • 49 Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.”
  • 50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”
  • 51 And He *said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
